My Blackberries have stories... #XLBBQ10

Hallo my blog readers! kali ini saya pengen ceritain cerita dua blackberry yang pernah saya miliki...

Ini blackberry pertama saya :) Saya dapat BB ini dari tahun 2009 bulan September, hadiah dari tante saya. Ini mungkin termasuk BB yang paling jadul -________- Blackberry Curve 8310. Saat itu, saya masih gaptek ga tau BB ini fungsinya untuk apa, cuma tau bisa online disini haha. Operator yang saya gunakan waktu itu XL, tarif aktifin BISnya kalo gak salah masih Rp 3500/hari. Saya udah aktifin BISnya parahnya, belum download Facebook for BB (gak tau sih taun itu di AppWorld udah sediain Facebook for Blackberry atau belom hehe), coba online Facebook di browser, ehh kok gak bisa -___- lama kelamaan saya belajar-belajar dan belajar lebih tentang BB, baru tau kalo BIS buat online Facebook itu harus ada aplikasinya gak bisa lewat browser. Hahaha. Beberapa bulan pertama pemakaian saya masih BUTA banget ama yang namanya fitur BB. Sekitar yah 4-5 bulan setelah itu baru tau kalo ada fitur BBM haha, yang bisa ngirim-ngirim pesan ke sesama pengguna BB. Tapi, saya pusing juga, karena pada waktu itu belum ada teman yang pake BB. Akhirnya, gak sampai setaun, BB ini rusak karena keseringan dipegang hehe dan keseringan jatuh :'( , sempat diservis sampai biaya servisnya Rp 400rb katanya track ballnya mahal -___- . Jadi, BB ini di'museum'kan di lemari sampai sekarang karet pinggirnya udah meleleh. Hehe...

Sekarang, udah dapat BB baru :D tapi masih tipe lama sih, lumayan bisa keep contact dengan temen2 lewat BBM. BB yang sekarang itu BB Javelin, yahh masih pake track ball. BB ini juga udah pernah rusak sekali mungkin karena udah tua kali yah, sebelumnya ini punya papa haha. Baterainya itu ke tingkat low-nya lari kuda -_- apalagi kalo BIS lagi aktif, UGH!!!!! udah deh, baru dicharge 15 menit, udah lowbat lagi, jadi kemana-mana PowerBank selalu nempel ma BB. Sampai suatu hari, papa aku menawarkan BBku untuk diservis (soalnya udah bilang berapa kali, belum dibawa-bawa). Kerusakannya selain di baterai, di track ball juga hehe, track ballnya jadi over-sensitive padahal udah diset ke tingkat normal :(. Jadi, dengan biaya Rp 100.000 BB Javelinku ini kembali normal! track ball baru, baterai baru walau bukan asli tapi, setidaknya bisa menolong sampai sekarang, casing juga baru.

Blackberry memang terkadang punya banyak trouble, tetapi selama dirawat dengan baik, I guess it will have no trouble. Berikut adalah tips dari saya (berdasarkan pengalaman hehe) untuk menjaga BB kamu bisa tahan lama:

1. Tetap jaga kapasitas memori baik internal maupun eksternal supaya gak lambat loading,
2. Usahakan minimalisir penggunaan touchpad atau trackball dengan menggunakan shortcut,
3. Kalo lagi di tempat gak ada sinyal atau kurang sinyal mendingan, networknya di-off-kan saja. Pencarian sinyal dapat menguras volume baterai.
4. Jangan lupa kalo lagi gak dipake turn ke StandBy Mode.
5. Pake kartu XL biar sinyal kamu lebih KUENCEEEEEEEEEEEEEENG!!!! Saya pakai XL buat BB saya, dan sinyal bagus kok :) BBMan jadi lebih aktif, updet status apalagi.

Itu aja sih seputar pengalaman saya dan kedua Blackberry saya hehe, dua-duanya udah pernah rusak tapikan gak sengaja... :( ampe mama pernah bilang, "kamu gak usah pake HP mahal deh, soalnya semua dirusakin, mending pake HP murah aja...". Sempat sedih sih, tapi akhirnya dapat BB bekas hehe, tapi gak apa-apa karena Blackberry keeps me socialized well :)

National Polytechnic English Olympic (my documentation)

This event started on 20 May to 24 May 2013, It's National Polytechnic English Olympic (really glad to be here), there were about 40 polytechnics from all over Indonesia competed in this English Olympic. There were four kinds of contest, public speaking, newscasting, storytelling and debating. My college, State Polytechnic of Ujung Pandang sent 7 persons to compete in each contest. One person for public speaking contest, two persons joined the newscasting, I am the only one who represented my polytechnic as a storyteller :p and 3 persons for the debating contest.

It was held in Shipbuilding State Polytechnic of Surabaya! The students stayed apart with the lecturers who accompany them to the competition. The students stayed in asrama haji Surabaya and the lecturers stayed in Hotel Sahid Gunawangsa. (but at the last day we stayed in the hotel for a night :D ) The whole things started from accomodation, facilities, until food were reaaaaaaaaaaaalllyyyyyyy totaaaaaaallllyyyy great. Seemed like the committees were really well-prepared for this event.

During this event me and the girls got closer and crazier together hahaha. We spent so much time at night to chat and talk and also shopping hehe. We really enjoyed time as GIRLS! No working just "fought" hehe, then sat down waiting................................ -__________- too much time wasted because of waiting, ate, chatted and shop!

This competition brought me some new experience especially for the contest STORYTELLING! before this time I really hate the storytelling, it looked weird. The storyteller asked and answered by themselves (x_x). But then, I have to do that. But, unfortunately I didn't become the winner but that's okay being in the top ten from all over 30 participants! I got a good score in the motivation story (may be I should be a motivator) LoL. =D

After the event, my lecturers and friends got back to Makassar but I stayed longer in Surabaya and had a fun holiday with my family there, adek Ammar! kinda miss him :'( . I went to a place that I never visited before in my whole life (21 years!) it's a ZOO! Hahaha.
